Andreas Papageorghiou

Non-Executive Chairman

A practising lawyer and the Managing Partner of A. N. Papageorghiou & Associates Law Offices in Nicosia, Cyprus. Mr. Papageorghiou was called to the English Bar in 1959 (Gray's Inn) and he subsequently practiced law from 1959 to 1963. From 1963 to 1978, Mr. Papageorghiou was internal legal adviser and subsequently Senior Manager of Legal & Trustee Services of the Bank of Cyprus group of companies. From 1978 to 1980 he was the Minister of Commerce, Industry & Tourism of the Republic of Cyprus and from 1981 to 1993 he was the General Manager of the Cyprus Housing Finance Corporation.
